Thanksgiving

I thought I'd give a little post Thanksgiving thanks.
What I am most thankful for:
My family and friends
My opportunity to education
My mental and physical health
Having the opportunity to travel around the world
An incredible employer, a great department and a superb boss
Availability of cheap nutritious food (emphasis on nutritious, chips, candy etc do not count)
My freedom to say "Mr. Bush, your social, economic and war policy has thrown our nation into turmoil" without fear of being kidnapped, tortured and/or killed. Of course I am not so naïve as to think Big Brother isn't watching.

My favorite glass!

Damit, I broke my favorite glass today! My klutz factor is exponentially rising each day. Oh well, at least I didn't trip over my feet and walk straight into a light pole in front of my coworkers. Oh wait...that was last week.

Avid Reader

I've been a reader of blogs for a while now but I never thought I would write one. I figure finals are over I have 6 weeks to be lazy. There couldn't be a better way to spent 6 lazy weeks holed up in my place blogging. I'm sure my family will appreciate it. Any who. For all those who care, I am a single women living in suburbia Southern California, surrounded by married couples with 2 children and a golden retriever. Yes, and doomed to be single the rest of my life. Well at least I have Luna, my cat. Shit.
